A team of the first order was selected in the start-up phase by Chef Gennaro Esposito, 2 Michelin stars, patron of the "Torre del Saracino" in Vico Equense, and by Salvatore La Ragione, Executive Chef at the head of the Mammà restaurant, as well as Esposito's historical collaborator, who in 2014 won the Michelin star right here in Capri.


    A welcome in perfect Caprese style, thought up by Executive Chef Salvatore La Ragione, who presents his new culinary proposals with a Mediterranean flavour.

    A passion for cooking, a career started at 19 years of age in Vico Equense: it was here that Salvatore La Ragione began his journey to the restaurant "La Torre del Saracino", where under the guidance of Gennaro Esposito, he grew to become sous-chef.

    In his curriculum, an international experience in 2004 alongside the famous Alain Ducasse also stands out. The professional association and the solid friendship that binds Salvatore La Ragione and Gennaro Esposito, saw them unite in Capri, 2013, to oversee the start up of the Mammà project.

    A new adventure founded under the best auspices: Salvatore La Ragione took over restaurant management in first person and, after the initial season, in November 2014, was awarded with the prestigious Michelin star.

    His culinary passion and imagination offer a revisit of Neapolitan tradition, with primary quality ingredients that enhance the uniqueness of the dishes. Unfailing in the menu is the raw fish, where the link with the raw materials of the territory is of fundamental importance.
